JUNIORTHON is India’s largest under 15 kids marathon, it promotes that getting dirty is healthier than playing with gadgets which makes children more vulnerable to Vitamin D deficiency, depression and chronic weight-related diseases. We firmly believe that every child needs to play/run/walk outdoors for his or her physical, social, emotional and overall well-being.
Juniorthon also actively supports the cause – RIGHT TO EDUCATION with Smile Foundation. Every participant who registers for Juniorthon, supports the education of an underprivileged kid.
We appeal to every parent, teacher & coach to inculcate, support and exercise their RIGHT TO SPORTS for children! The categories are planned to accommodate various levels of runners considering age and distance.
Mumbai JUNIORTHON has been the first ever successful annual running event for children & junior athletes in Mumbai. The first season was held on 06th Dec 2015 and since then there is no looking back.

“Ekal Abhiyan” is a non-government and non-profitable organization working to empower and uplift Tribals of our country and Nepal in the field of education, digital literacy, health & hygiene, skills and other socio-economic activities.
Ekal is a story of social dreamers who believed that change is possible, and education can be the medium to bring about a positive change in society. They are a non-profit organization on a mission to bring Basic Education to every child across rural villages through One-Teacher Schools (known as Ekal Vidyalayas) all over India. The fivefold program at Ekal includes Basic Education, Health Care, Skill Development, Ethical Value, and Empowerment.
The main objective is literacy and imparting values of life to make them decent citizens of India and inculcate patriotism in their minds at an early age. Our teachers are taking ahead of the culture of selfless service by accepting the bare minimum stipend and giving their full time and energy for the cause. Since its inception in 1986, Ekal has grown substantially into a national movement towards developing rural areas & smart villages in India.
Our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has also recognised and lauded the efforts of Ekal Abhiyan in taking education to the last mile Indian and empowering tribal families. We have been recently felicitated with “Bharat Nirmaan award” and “Gandhi Peace Prize” which has further strengthened our resolution to steadfastly pursue the dream of reaching 1 lakh villages and empowering crores of tribals by 2022.
